James is an Accredited Clinical Counsellor and a Registered Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health Worker, based in Queensland, Australia.
James’ professional interests are in mental health counseling, marriage counseling, men’s issues, organisational and management consulting, employee assistance programs, training, and providing consultation to media/government/organisations. His passion is to take on the pharmaceutical companies head on and help people overcome anxiety, especially if it is possible without the use of medications. During his time working in a counseling role he has helped thousands of people work through the difficulties they have faced, many of those being able to completely overcome their anxiety and regain passion and purpose in their lives.
James has worked in Mental Health and Counselling industry since 2002, with a background in the Management and Business industry since 1993. He has advised Government, Business and the Public Sector in the areas of Leadership, Internet and e-Commerce, Business, Management and Retail. He currently runs a very busy Queensland based clinical practice.
James has previously held a position on the national board of Suicide Prevention Australia, the national body that represents to Government the interests of people involved in the prevention of suicide, and on the national board of the Australian Junior Chamber of Commerce. James has completed a Diploma of Psychology, and is currently studying a Bachelors Degree in the same field.
